The Donington weekend is now behind the EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory team. In Race 2 Valentin Debise finished 10th after battling for a place in the top five, whilst Federico Caricasulo finished in 18th place.

Debise got off to a good start from eighth on the grid, immediately latching onto the leading group. During the middle stages of the race the French rider put in a strong performance, holding sixth place for a long time, before a dip in form towards the end forced him to drop back to his final 10th place. Caricasulo spent the entire race just outside the points-scoring zone, crossing the chequered flag in 18th place. 

Following this weekend’s results, Debise sits second in the overall standings with 209 points, whilst Caricasulo is 18th with 27 points. In the team standings, EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory is second with 236 points, whilst in the manufacturers’ standings, ZXMOTO is third with 211 points. EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory will return to action from 4 to 6 September at Magny-Cours, for the ninth round of the 2026 World Supersport Championship.

“This morning we completely overhauled the bike and the feel was immediately better. So I went into the race feeling really fired up: I battled with the front-runners until halfway through the race, but unfortunately I struggled with grip towards the end, so I finished in tenth place. The pace is there; now we need to work on consistency. I’m happier with Race 2 than with Race 1, partly because I gathered some useful information for the future”.

Federico Caricasulo

“Unfortunately, the race didn’t go as hoped. I improved on yesterday’s performance, but not enough to achieve what the team and I were aiming for. Now there’s a long break, during which I’ll try to analyse every detail, so that we can find that decisive step forward for the end of the season”.

“It was certainly a challenging weekend for the whole team. Valentin managed to improve over the course of the weekend, fighting for the top positions, even if the results weren’t quite what we wanted: every track is a new challenge for us, and I’m pleased with the progress we’ve shown. Federico unfortunately struggled, but we’re not losing heart and we’ll keep working, not least because we now have a long break ahead of us, which is just what we need for this”.
