It was a difficult Sunday for the EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory, which saw Valentin Debise retire from Race 2 at Balaton Park, whilst Federico Caricasulo finished the race in 16th place.

At the start, Caricasulo lost a few places, finishing the first lap in 18th position. As the race progressed, the Italian rider maintained a steady pace, but was unable to climb the standings, crossing the chequered flag in P16, just outside the points.
Debise's race on Sunday, however, ended after just two laps: following a positive start, Valentin suffered a technical issue, which forced him to return to the pits early on the second lap.
Following the weekend's results, Debise occupies third place in the overall standings with 97 points, whilst Caricasulo is in 22nd with ten points. In the team standings, EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory is fourth with 107 points, whilst in the manufacturer's standings ZXMOTO is third with 99 points.
The EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory will return to action from 15 to 17 May at the Czech circuit of Most, for the fifth round of the 2026 World Supersport Championship.

Valentin Debise
"Unfortunately, there's not much to say about today's race. Shortly after the start, I was forced to retire due to a technical issue: these things happen, and the bike has performed really well on all tracks so far despite its youth, so we're looking ahead. Now we'll have a bit of time to work on things before returning to action at Most".

Federico Caricasulo
"Race 2 unfolded much like yesterday's race. Wevre still missing something in terms of setup, so despite the progress, Ivm struggling to secure the positions Ivm aiming for, but we're not giving up and wevre confident that the necessary step forward is just around the cornerv.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
"Sometimes you have bad days, and today was one of them. Valentin had a bad feeling almost immediately after getting on the bike and realized it wasn't worth continuing the race: our technicians are analyzing the situation and we hope to quickly identify the cause of the technical issue. Federico started the weekend feeling better, as evidenced by his positive result in Superpole, but unfortunately, both yesterday in Race 1 and today in Race 2, he didn't have that same encouraging feeling, so he struggled to climb up the standings. We end with a slightly bitter taste in our mouths a weekend where we were able to make an incredible return to the top step of the podium; we have therefore confirmed our great potential, and we can remain more than optimistic for the upcoming rounds of the season".
